Welcome and goodbye have prefix-driven configuration actions. Each channel can have its own template.

Temporary messages and DMs

Welcome also supports temporary channel messages and a direct-message template. Temporary messages are removed after 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

Rich messages

Use the feature’s variables command to check supported placeholders. Embed and Components V2 templates work through the greeting parser.
