# Logging

> Route moderation, message, member, and server events to staff channels.

## Event routes

Routes connect a channel with an event category. Categories include messages, moderation, members, channels, roles, joins, leaves, voice, invites, and server changes.

## Ignored targets

Log ignore toggles a member or channel exclusion, or displays the ignore list. This changes what is logged, not who can run a command.

## Channel access

Allow Semetary to send messages and embeds in log channels. Keep logs visible to the intended staff. The setup flow can help configure that access.

## Command reference

Examples use the default comma prefix. Required inputs use angle brackets; optional inputs use square brackets. Each command notes whether it is also registered in Discord's slash menu.

    Enable an event in a logging channel.

    Disable an event in a logging channel.

    ### log ignore

    Toggle a member or channel logging ignore, or use list.
