# Command Aliases

> Create server-specific shortcuts for existing commands.

## Add an alias

An alias points a shorter name at an existing command. It does not create a new action or change the command's permissions.

```text theme={null}
,alias add serverinfo si
,alias list
```

## Remove aliases

Remove deletes one custom alias. Clear deletes all custom aliases for the server; built-in aliases remain part of the command definition.

## Command reference

Examples use the default comma prefix. Required inputs use angle brackets; optional inputs use square brackets. Each command notes whether it is also registered in Discord's slash menu.
