# Giveaways

> Run timed giveaways with entry requirements and rerolls.

## Start a giveaway

Provide a prize and duration. Optional inputs include winner count, destination channel, description, image, and eligibility requirements.

## Entry requirements

Requirements can include a role, blacklisted role, account age, server age, and message count. A bonus role can grant extra entries. Review these settings before publishing.

## Manage giveaways

List finds active giveaways, end finishes one early, reroll chooses winners for an ended giveaway, and cancel stops an active giveaway.

## Command reference

Examples use the default comma prefix. Required inputs use angle brackets; optional inputs use square brackets. Each command notes whether it is also registered in Discord's slash menu.

    ### giveaway start

    Start a new giveaway.

    | `duration` | Yes | How long the giveaway should last. Example: 30m, 2h, 7d, 1w |
    | `winners` | No | How many winners to pick. |
    | `channel` | No | The channel to send the giveaway in. |
    | `description` | No | Optional giveaway description. |
    | `image` | No | Optional giveaway image. |
    | `required_role` | No | Role required to enter. |
    | `blacklisted_role` | No | Role blocked from entering. |
    | `bonus_role` | No | Role that receives bonus entries. |
    | `bonus_entries` | No | Bonus entries for the bonus role. |
    | `minimum_account_age` | No | Minimum account age in days. |
    | `minimum_server_age` | No | Minimum server join age in days. |
    | `minimum_messages` | No | Minimum messages required to enter. |

    End a giveaway early.
