# Customization

> Customize the bot's server profile and moderation messages.

## Server profile

Only the server owner can use customize to change the bot's server avatar, banner, or bio. Image changes accept an upload or a direct image link, but not both.

## Punishment messages

Invoke templates personalize responses for actions such as bans, warnings, and timeouts. Configure the relevant action and use the supported template format.

## Message formats

Use plain text for short messages, embeds for structured information, or Components V2 for supported container layouts.

## Command reference

Examples use the default comma prefix. Required inputs use angle brackets; optional inputs use square brackets. Each command notes whether it is also registered in Discord's slash menu.

    Set the bot avatar for this server.
